Birmingham, AL – White Arnold & Dowd P.C. is pleased to announce that attorney Lisha L. Graham is holding her second term as president of the Alabama Asian Pacific American Bar Association (ALAPABA). ALAPABA is the Alabama chapter of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA), co-founded by Lisha L. Graham in 2012, for Asian Pacific American attorneys, judges, and other members of the legal profession in Alabama. The purpose of ALAPABA is to promote the professional growth and advancement of its members by providing substantive professional development and educational programs, mentoring and networking opportunities, and opportunities for leadership and community service. “We are very proud of Lisha’s involvement and leadership in ALAPABA,” said Connie Ray Stockham, a member of the firm’s Management Committee. “She has been a strong advocate for ALAPABA, and we have no doubt that she will continue to serve the legal community and lead the organization to future success.”
Ms. Graham represents clients in various areas of civil defense litigation, with a primary focus on insurance defense. Through her practice, Ms. Graham has represented general contractors and subcontractors in various types of construction litigation and indemnity actions. She also represents clients, both companies and individuals, in a variety of commercial cases, including premises liability, breach of contract, negligence and products liability, as well as both plaintiffs and defendants in financial litigation, business torts, and fraud. She holds a J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, and also has a B.S. from Auburn University, where she was a senior honors scholar.
